Pension Heidi Zwiesel

By Air : 

UK Airports fly daily to Munich, and then it’s about a two hour drive or by train to Zwiesel though some fantastic scenery.

By Road : 

From the channel ports head for Brussels, Koln, Frankfurt, Würzburg, Nürnberg, Regensburg, Deggendorf, Zwiesel.

By Rail : 

From Munich Airport, once you have collected your bags follow the Green signs for S Bahn (local transit system), purchase your ticket from the machine or counter before you enter the train and take the S1 local train to Freising, Change trains in Freising for Plattling, then change at Plattling for the Bayernwald train to Zwiesel, the pension is just a few minutes from the station.

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) take the train to Plattling and then change onto the Bayerwald Train which brings you over the Danube River and through the Bavarian Forest National Park (Bayrische Wald) to Zwiesel, the Pension is just a few minutes from the station.

Money Saving Rail Travel Tip: Buy the Bayern Train Ticket for 27 Euros which allows up to five people to travel together.

Zwiesel is just 14km from the border of the Czech Republic
